how to get Windows Movie Maker

I have XP Pro SP2 and want to get Movie maker but the Microsoft website says
that I should get it via Windows Update. My Windows Update only provides me
with critical updates. What's the best way to get Movie maker on my system?

Don, click on Windows Update. Now in Windows Update, click on Custom. You
should now be able to download Movie Maker.

Sorry, Nutty Professor...but this will
never happen.

The OP states that SP2 is installed on
WinXP Pro...the version of Movie Maker
should be 2.1 and the *only* way to install
it is when SP2 is installed.

There is no separate download of
Movie Maker 2.1.

you may have it installed and not know it. Look here: C:\Program

Mr. Inzer is correct. The SP2 install had put 2.1 on my computer but didn't
create an icon for it.
