Hi.
I have developed an application for WM 5.0. Now i want
to know the memory usage at runtime.I have got the
Remote Performance Mnitor tool which comes with .NETCF
setup. but i am facing some problem while connecting.
This tool launches my application on the emulator(i am using ActiveSync),but
it remains in disconnected mode.and it shows the following error
NETCFLauncherEntryPointRAPI failed: 80004005.
I have followed the procedure, but may be missing
something. Please help me out in this.

Thanks for your quick reply. But isnt it true that Windows Mobile 5.0 are
true emulators. RPM must be supported on the emulator or there must be some
way to get the memory footprint of an application on the emulator. Are you
very sure that RPM is not supported on the emulator.

Device Emulator 2.0 is a true ARM instruction emulator, yes.

Must? Just because you wish it doesn't make it so.

100% positive. Even the new RPM that came with the Orcas March CTP doesn't
work with the emulator. My guess is that it's a transport problem, but
regardless of the why, it doesn't work and there's no way to make it work.
