How to get/set windows SID through an application

Please let me know if there is call to get/set windows SID through an application.
The reason is if I want to change SID inside an application. Some of the applications will have binding of SID . On creating a Image of server box along with applications, I want modify the SID on target box after deploying the image and alter the SID which will take care of application dependency
