how to get same messages on desk top and laptop

I have a desktop and a lap top. I want my messages to go to both the desk
top and the lap top, so I always have access. How do I do that?

Create an account on each that point to the same POP server and specify the
option to leave a copy of the message on the server. That way when one
download the message, it won't be removed so that the other can download it
also.
