How do I get rid of that "click" sound everytime Windows
does a command like a mouse click or opens a new window?

start
control panel
sounds
sounds tab
find command and uncheck the sound
done

check in the control panel.. Then to sounds and audio devices. Now, under
the sounds find the sound you want to turn off, or add.
and save and exit.

control panel \ sounds

The quickest way: unplug your speakers.

Quite helpful just to make it more clear: you need to put the sound to none that's what X meant by "uncheck the sound"
cheers
