How to get off kiosk mode?

How to get off kiosk mode? I Have Win XP Home SP2. Somehow I got into kiosk
mode and now could not get back to a normal window. What key or combination
keys will take me back to normal?

Assuming you are talking about Internet Explorer Kiosk mode,
see here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/154780

Alt + F4 may get you out but it will also shut down IE.

Now, how did you start IE. If from a shortcut you need to
look at the shortcut and remove the -k after the name of
iexplore.exe.

Just tested and even starts and stops with IE 7 installed on
XP.

If you're talking about Internet Explorer "kiosk" full screen mode. You hit
F11 to exit from full screen and go to normal. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your suggestion. Sure, it works, but also it kills the IE... It
seemed to me, that there was a way to shrink the kiosk to a "normal" size...
But maybe I was wrong...

But did you check the shortcut you are using to start IE? If it somehow has
the -K switch it will always start in kiosk mode.

Well, I have two shortcuts for IE, one for kiosk another for "normal". The
kiosk shortcut, of course, has the -k switch. Long time ago, I used kiosk
for something (really do not remember for what) and left it at that.
Thanks for your input.
