How to get number with in order

Hi I had a small query in writing a macro. In one field i want to get the
number in a serial order and assign the same to a Form. For example is would
like to get the numbers like CC01, CC02...... so on automatically if i click
on the form First I Should get the serial number as CC01 when once this is
posted then next i should get as CC02 and this should be changeable for
example if I post it CC01 and click on the next if i get CC02 i should be
able to edit to some thing else and next time when i click i should get as
CC02.
Is it possible to write a macro like this
