how to get "hot fix" from microsoft

hi, i need to get a "hot fix" to help my windows XP pro
recognize my camcorder. How do i contact microsoft in
order to get it. It is described in Microsoft Knowledge
Base Article - 826377. any help would be appreciated.

As the article states, you need to call Microsoft Product Support Services to
obtain it (outside the US, customers should contact their local Microsoft
subsidiary.). The support call will be be free as long as you refer to the
Knowledge Base Article number (Q826377) and ask for nothing more.

For WinXP:

In the wizard, Select WinXP, and Basic, and then "It was purchased separately"
