How to get a program out of compatibility mode?

I caused a program to error by not giving the right information. This is
supposed to cause an error. Now the program starts in compatibility mode. I
want it back to normal, how do I get it out of compatibility mode?
 
Find the exe on your system for the application
right click and choose properties
you will find the comptibility mode tab there
either remove it or change as required
