How to format a large poster in Power point?

I have to convert a poster that is 42" x 48" (width) to a sheet size of 42" x
90" (width). The Page setup wn't et me do it. I have chosen the custom
paper size but it still won't let me reformat to thse large dimensions. Any
suggestions? Do I have to copy the slide to another application ike Word?

SLGDAN,

If you create a page size that is the same PROPORTIONS then all will be
well.

Just choose "scale to fit" at print time.

You can print at 200%, but that will make your height 84" instead of 42". Do
you really need to convert it to the same height but twice as wide?

If so, you'll need to do a bit of redesign, I think. Set up a slide that's
21x45 and then when you print, scale to 200% in File/Print/Printer
Properties.
