How to format a floppy??

The joke is, "Use Viagra."

The truth, put a floppy, that is not write protected, in the
drive, select the floppy drive in My Computer with a right
click, select format.

Left click "My Computer". Right click 31/2" floppy ('A') and select "Format"
from the drop down menu.

From My Computer, right click the floppy drive and select format. You can
choose the option to create a MS-DOS boot disk. The disk that XP creates has
only the files necessary to boot the system to a dos prompt. If you need the
boot disk to flash a bios, or update firmware, the boot disk will fill the
bill for you. If you need a boot floppy with more options, follow the link
below for specialized versions of boot disks.

I thought I responded to this this morning - never mind that's computers for
you!
