As MVP Suzanne Barnhill says, you need to do some "lateral thinking"
-- make a (borderless) table with one row and two columns, and rotate
the text in the two halves by 90 degrees in opposite directions (so
that the top of the text for each side is at the middle of the table).
If you need to use the full height of your letter-size / A4 paper,
then put your document in Landscape mode first.
