How to fix Http err 404

I got this err (Http err 404) when i acces to my website and need your help.
The page cannot be found
The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed,
or is temporarily unavailable.

•Make sure that the Web site address displayed in the address bar of your
browser is spelled and formatted correctly.
•If you reached this page by clicking a link, contact the Web site

Well, if the page can't be found, you need to make sure it is online. Check
your online web via FP or FTP and make sure the files are all there.

Does your *home page* have the proper file name as required by the server to be the default page?

It is usually index.html or default.html

Also make sure you are using the correct case for the page name - on a Unix
server index.html, Index.html and index.HTML are three different files. It
is best to always use lowercase when naming files and folders, and never
use spaces which can break links in some browsers.
