How do I find out the current version of this Windows Script engine/DLL on
my Win installation ?

"About Internet Explorer" does not show this information.

Is this a part of only IntExp or of the whole Win2000/XP ?

Windows Script is not part of IE, it is part of Windows. To check the
version on your machine, look at the properties of cscript.exe or
wscript.exe in your \windows\system32 folder.

Windows XP SP2 includes WSH version 5.6.0.8820. Right click "wscript.exe" file (present in Windows\System32 folder) and chosoe Properties .Select the "Version" tab.

The current version is 5.6.0.8831
