how to find more than one record at a time

I have just started transferring all my records from my 486 (!) .. to Exel on
my Mac .. but I am unable to search my data like I could with the MSWORKS
databases : eg I used to be able to pull up all the references to Mozart in
my CD track listing .. and make a new list or them.
