How to find a paragraph break using wildcards (^13 DOESN'T WORK)

I need to find paragraph returns using wildcards
Word help suggests ^13 to overcome the fact that ^p will not work using
wildcards.
However, ^13 doesn't work either on my version of word (version 11.2).
Does anyone know another way to find paragraph returns using wildcards?

It should work. What happens when you try? Note that ^13 is for "Find
what" only, not for "Replace with."

You may want to display nonprinting characters; see
http://word.mvps.org/faqs/formatting/NonPrintChars.htm.
