Hi,

I am trying to filter two columns in the excel sheet. But it is not allowing
me to filter it.So please advice.

Use AutoFilter. It will allow you to filter on all the columns separately

Hi Gary,

I dont want to filter all the columns. I want to filter only two which I
Choose. For example, I have 3 coulmns , one Coulmn A, other one Coulmn B and
other one Coulmn C. Now I want to filter only Coulmn A and C. but it is not
allowing me to filter .So Please Advice.

Thanks and Regards,
Deva.

You don't have to apply the filters to every column, but Excel only
allows you to have autofilters set up for a contiguous range. If your
data covers columns A to C, then you will have to set up autofilters
in these three columns, then you can apply the filter condition to
column A and to column C.

Hope this helps.

Hello Dave,

How do you remove the dropdown arrow from column that you don't want to
filter on?

Thanks,

Bridgett

Click on the link that Dave provided to the Contextures site, where it
shows how to turn the arrows off and turn them back on again in two
separate procedures.

Hope this helps (in lieu of Dave).

Pete
