How to extract data from a column

Hi,

I use excel 2003 and have a column containing data that I need to extract to
separate columns. Please see the image. the data in A is very long and image
shows just a portion of it. how do i extract INTERIOR items to INTERIOR
column, EXTERIOR items to EXTERIOR column etc.? Thanks

Is the layout consistant, where all of your column A entries have all of
those elements, e.g., Interior, exterior, etc.

If you have a lot of data and your layout is consistant, you could use
search and replace to replace INTERIOR with a symbol like a | and then use
that criteria as your delimiter in a Text to Column operation
