How to export PPT to HTML with working FLASH animations?

Hi All!

This is my first big PowerPoint presentation and it been fun to learn the
program.

I'm building a large show (94 slides) and have 15 or so Flash .swf files
embedded throughout.

I need the show to be delivered via HTML as a webpage, however, when I
export, the .swf files become non-animated graphics. Doh!

Has anyone else had this problem of getting .swf files to export with the
PowerPoint HTML?

I'm using an older version of PowerPoint - Does 2007 do it better?

Any help or sympathy would be great,

Newman

I think you're going to have to edit the HTML and add the SWFs directly in
there. PPT's just not designed to do this kind of thing.

2007's not any better in that regard.

We've worked out a way to do this with our PPT2HTML PowerPoint to HTML
converter add-in. It has other advantages over PPT's own HTML and also a few
disadvantages; you might want to have a look though. There's a free fully
functional demo at http://www.pptools.com/ppt2html/

This explains more about how we handle Flash:

FLASH! PPT2HTML does it!

It's all a bit techie, but if you've gotten this far on your first
presentation, I'd guess you'll be able to handle it easily :)
