How to Export in Outlook

How do I export a distribution list (only the names/email chosen in that
list, I can't go through over 3K contacts and pick them individually) into
excel?
 
One of the export options is to export as a *.CSV file. This "comma separated
variable" text file can be put in an excel spreadsheet, or a word table.
