How to export/import e-mail with received/sent dates?

I am trying to export e-mail from old laptop to new using Outlook
import-export tool.
I cannot get received & sent dates to export.
How is that done?

Don't use import/export at all. Just copy your pst file from one to the
other. (Do NOT overwrite the existing pst file on the new machine). On the
new machine, open Outlook and do Fil-open-outlook data file and navigate to
the copied pst file. Then just drag all your mail folders over.
