How to encrypt DFS shares?

Anyone know exactly how I can encrypt DFS shares on dfs server sharing over
3 servers?

Do I only encrypt server to which users have access via the directory I
published to active directory. Currently I have encrypted the directory
locally on the one of the dfs servers and waiting to see what the results
will be. Doesn't seem to be the best solution for me though. I have a funny
feeling there is a better way lol.
