how to enable outlook and word 2007 auto text

I am using outlook 2007 and word 2007, and have keyed in the auto text for
some frequent used words, but couldn't find how to enable those words so it
can be automaticall typed out when we type the first few characters.

that is autocomplete, not autotext. once you add them to the autocomplete
list they should be enabled but check in outlook's tools, options, spelling
tab, autocomplete options.
