how to enable "change text direction" button

WinXP pro sp3, office 2003 professional sp3
need to know how to enable "change text direction" button on the powerpoint
2003 tables and borders toolbar.

2003 tables and borders toolbar.

I don't see that option in that toolbar. You can change the text
direction by clicking on a table cell, going to the Format menu and
choosing Table. Click on the Text Box tab and check the box for rotating
text 90 degrees.

1. Select Tools | Customize...
2. Select the Commands tab.
3. Choose the Format Category.
4. From the Commands list, scroll to locate 'Left to Right' and "Right to
Left".
5. Drag and drop each of them to desired location on the menus.
6. Close the Customize... dialog.
