How to enable and disable smart tags in Word 2007?

Go to Office button > Word Options > Add-Ins. At the bottom of the dialog, set
the Manage dropdown to Smart Tags and click the Go button. The next dialog has
all the controls for enabling/disabling Smart Tags.

Hi Coyote,

To Add to Jay's reply, you can still use the Word 2003 shortcut of
Alt, T, A
to get to the old SmartTag settings dialog.
