HOW TO EDIT POPUP WINDOWS WITH FP

J

JohnNews

Folks:

After installing FP2000 or FP2002 or FP2003 on my computer, I notice that
the FP icon appears in one of the horizontal menu bars of my IE6 Browser.
This is a very convenient feature since it allows me to go to any page on
the Internet and edit that page simply by clicking on the FP icon.

Now I would like to apply this same principle (accessing web sites) to these
small pop up windows. Popup Windows, as you know, do not have any
horizontal menu bars. How then can I get access to these popup windows so
that I can edit them?

Thanks,
John.

If the popup window has the menu bar hidden, there is nothing you can do to
cause it to be displayed, unless you are the site owner, in which case you
can set the popup windows to have the menu.

You would have to actually open the site directly in FP via File Menu | Open
Web, enter the Site URL, then your login info, click Ok, then click Open
(FP2000/FP2002).

Hi John News,

With focus at the pop-up press Control + n and it will open in a full formed
window.

A little simpler method is to press ctrl + n :>)
