how to download vista with coupon

i bought my pc in jan. and i got an email saying that i am capable to
upgrade... but now that vista is out i dont know how to access that and
dowload it. help?
 
It depends on the brand. Usually you have to order the DVD from your
computer maker using the coupon included with the machine.
I don't believe you can just download it.
 
i bought it from dell.. so would i have to go to the dell site? or what

In accordance with Microsoft program guidelines, March 15, 2007 was the last day
for purchasing an eligible system and March 31, 2007 was the last day for redeeming
the Express Upgrade to Windows Vista. Sorry!

Wow... that sucks! Not for me... but geez, hard to believe they'd have any
kind of redemption period... well, I'd think at least 6 months... not 2
months... seems kinda wrong to me. Not what you posted, but the whole
upgrade deal. Stinks, methinks.
