How to display list box values in data access page?

I give up. I am a basic MS access user (not a programmer). I want to create a
data access web form that others can use to fill in values in the database. I
have used the data access page wizard to create the form, and everything is
fine EXCEPT that I CANNOT create a drop-down list based on the values in a
table or query. The regular Access forms wizard does this just fine. It is
only when I create a combo box in the data access page design view that it
will not show the appropriate choices in the list box (and time them back to
the master data table). I have tried changing the Control Source and several
other things in the element properties settings. Every time, I get the field
label, the nice pulldown arrow, but no values to choose from (even though
they are certainly in the source table). I have spent two days trying to
figure this out and hunted all over the 'net looking for simple, step-by-step
instructions on creating a list box tied to values in a table on a data
access form. Can anyone help?
