How to Display Chinese Characters in Report - Repost

A

AG

Sorry for repost, but there was a problem with my MSDN posting alias.

How can Simplified Chinese characters be displayed in a label or textbox on
a report?
I will need to have some labels and textboxes displaying Simplified Chinese
and others displaying English.
Is just a font needed or something else?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello,

Regarding your question, I don't think there's any problem to use
lables/textbox in reports to display simple Chinese.

You need to check "install files for easten asia language" on language tab
in "regional and settings" in Control Panel.

If you encounter any problem, please feel free to let's know. Thank you.

Thanks for the reply Peter.

So, once I check "install files for easten asia language", I can just paste
Chinese characters into a text field of a table that is the source of a
report, then set the control source of a text box to that field and it
should display properly?
