You right click in an open area of the Vista desktop, select Personalize,
Screen Saver and choose to disable it or set it to a real high minutes
count.
TVAnts would need to support disabling the screen saver - the screen saver
by itself can't make a quality judgement about the merit of what you're
doing right now. The application would have to let it know to hold off.
Looks like you need to start TVants with a WSJ(Windows Scripting Host)
file that first disables the screen saver, then starts TVants, then
enables the screen saver after you are finished running TVants.
(The content of the file is left to the student)
Screen savers are not really necessary with modern displays. You may
want to turn it off permanently.
