Hi All,

I would like to know if there is any way (except thru'
firewall/ipsec/port filtering) by which I can disable
port 69(TFTP) in windows xp / xp professional.

Please help.

Thanks,

TCP and UDP port 69 are reserved for TFTP. XP does not run a TFTP service by
default so if your XP box is listening on port 69 some application or trojan
is opening the port.
