How to disable plug and printer for parallel port

Hello all,

Does anyone know how to disable parallel port plug and
play device detection?

I have created a silent install for a printer but now i
everytime i reboot the add/remove hardware wizard says it
has detected a new device and i don't want this to happen.

You could remove the plug and play services from Add/Remove in Control
Panel: Windows Components / Network Services / Details untick Plug and Play.
This will remove it from your whole system though not just the parallel
port.
