How to disable personal menus

I cannot disable personal menus in XP for both the start menu and favorite
menu. I arrange them in the order I want and after each restart of the pc
they are
back in alphabetical order. I even modified the group policy by runing
gpedit.msc and disabled personal menus in the administrator settings. How
the heck do I disable personal menus? I am at a loss. Thanks and have a nice

Hi

Personalized Menus option has nothing to do with programs and favorites
getting arranged in alphabetical order. Click the Explain tab in group
policy to get a full description.
As far as I know there is no setting to accomplish what you want.
