how to disable on-board video card?

G

George

I have ATI rage pro video memory on board of 4mb but I
bought a 32mb card to install but apparently it does not
work due to the Display adapters section under device
managers, My Device usage area is in gray area and could
not be adjusted to disable or enable either.
Anybody know a solution to fix this.

Check BIOS to disable onboard video. If not there, check the mainboard
manual for an onboard switch or jumper.

Consult the PC's manual for instructions on how to enter the BIOS
and adjust the necessary settings.
