How to disable finding new hardware when Windows starts

I have plotter connected to Windows 2000 workstation and
it works fine but everytime I start Windows it says new
hardware found and tries to install the plotter again and
fails. I don't need to install new devices on that
computer so is there a way to prevent Windows from
searching new devices so that I don't have to hit cancel
everytime Windows starts?

No. You'll need to find the proper driver for your plotter
and reinstall it using that driver. If it IS the proper driver,
contact the manufacturer.
