How to disable auto-insert feature?

This "feature" can't be disabled. Use forms for data entry and your issue
should go away.
 
I have a table in MS Access 2000 with the following fields:

ItemNumber, Quantity, Price, Taxes, TotalCharge

My problem is that if I enter 2 in ItemNumber and 4 in Quantity, then after
I press the Tab key Access will automatically insert 6 in Price. This is
very annoying and I want to disable this auto insert feature (I don't know
how this feature is called).

Could anyone please help me?
