How to disable auto dial up ??

Hi ... I am using dial up 56k for my internet but
whenever i boot up 2000 pro it would automatically try to
connect to my ISP provider , How can i set it up were it
doesn't do that ??? Were i connect to my isp provider
manually ??? Thanks

In Internet Explorer, do this:

Tools / Internet Options / Connections / Never dial a connection
