how to determine the link names for pictures word 2007

I'm working on a document that has 100+ insert/link pictures. how do I find
out the link name (e.g. path to the linked file) for each picture? Some of
the pictures are very similar, so simply looking at them and comparing the
document image with the .jpg is tedious and error prone.
Thanks!

If you know the file names of the pictures you've inserted and linked, the
following might be helpful:
Open the document containing the linked pictures
Click the Microsoft Office Button
Point to Prepare
Click Edit Links to Files to display the Links dialog box
Select a linked file
Under Source information for the selected link, note the full path following
Source File:

H

Herb Tyson [MVP]

Select the file, then choose Office button - Prepare - Edit Links to Files.
(Unfortunately, when you right-click this command, Add to QAT is not
available... I'm in the process of searching to see if there is a QAT-able
form for this command to make it more easily accessible. I'll post back if I
find one.)
