How to delete the auto population info in Yahoo & Google Search boxes?

Hello,
IE 6, on Windows 2000. I've cleared temp internet files,
cookies and history. Still when I go to Yahoo or Google
and access their search boxes, all of my previous search
words/phrases appear. Any way to remove these previous
searches or keep them from showing? Thanks.
