I have several programs listed in the Add/Remove programs window that
are associated with other programs that I successfully deleted, but they
will not delete. Suggestions?

To clear the entries you can navigate to
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
and delete the subkey for the program.

Hi

Remove their entries under the registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

What does, "that are associated with other programs" mean?

Can you give an example? Are you saying you had installed applications that required some other application be installed? One that I know of that does this is Jakarta Tomcat requires Sun's JVK be installed first. But neither of thier uninstalls requires anything from the other.

What I was referring to were a few utility programs that I had installed
specific to the host programs (graphics/video editing programs) within
the host folders. When I deleted the host programs, the utility folders
went too, but their entries in Add/Remove Programs window remained, but
could not be deleted themselves that way.

I'll try deleting their Registry keys as suggested elsewhere in this
thread.

Another approach that usually works is to go to Add/Remove Programs,
locate the entry you want to remove, and click on it. Windows will report
that the file is not available and ask if you want to remove the entry.
Clcik "Yes" and the entry is deleted.
