How do I delete the server/computer object from active directory.
I would get
"The object <myservername> (or some of the objects it contains) cannot be
deleted because: Insufficient access rights to perform the operation."

This is a native win2k domain ADD and I am Neterprise admin.
I was installing IAS with ROOT CA on it but I am decided to rid of it.
There has to be soem work around for this. Please advise.. thanks in advance

Hello,

Here are some options to try:

Option 1
=======
1) Trie to delete the account through ADSIEDIT.

Option 2
=======
1) Check permissions (using ADSIEDIT) on that object (computer account) and
ensure domain admins have FC.

2) If not, give FC to domain admins and you should be able to delete the
object.

Thank You.

Diana.
