How to delete message stuck in Outlook 2003 outbox

I have a message stuck in my outbox. The attachment is 12 MB. When I try to
open or delete the message from the outbox I get a response that I can not
because Outlook 2003 has already started transmitting the message.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to the
(insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal account
will be deleted without reading.
