How to delete automatically messages after closing Windows mail

With Outlook express, we can program automatically delete ormessages but not
in windows mail! Why

Go to Tools, Options, Advanced, Maintenance, first option:
"Empty messages from the Deleted Items folder on exit".

Incidentally, many users have regretted choosing that setting, when they
realized they needed to review a message they had deleted minutes earlier.

I was looking for the same setting as I sometimes forget to empty the
deleted items folder.
