How to delete ANY / ALL previously visited sites?

How can I delete ALL previously visited sites? I know
that in the Tools - Internet Options menu there is the
Clear History option which generally take care of things,
but often I get some previously visited sites that just
won't go away. For example, sometimes Expedia stuff tends
to stick, like one previously referenced page for a hotel
description or something like that.

Thoughts appreciated.

If the Clear History function is not working for some sites, you might try
also deleting your internet files and cookies. That might help out. That's
the only thing I can think of at this time that might help.
