how to decline conflicting meeting

Is there a way in Outlook 2003 in conjunction with Exchange 2000 be able to
decline a conflicting meeting and not a resource? Multiple meeting are
arranged without checking to see if people have existing meeting at the same
time. It would be nice to get a message to indicate that there is a conflict
with other meeting at the same time.

Please note that this is not about a conflict in resource.

Thanks

Tools->Options->Calendar Options->Planner Options->Decline conflicting
meetings.

Sorry - should have been Resource Scheduling rather than Planner Options.

Note: You really need to check these options yourself rather than having
someone else point you to them.

Dear Milly,

Thanks for your reply.

I am aware of this option and I believe this is only for resource conflict
and not double booking a meeting which has nothing to do with resource
conflict.

I had indicated at the bottom of my post that the problem is not resource
conflict.

Regards

Al
