We have two compouters hooked up via ethernet through a DSL router. On
computer #1, I created a new folder. I right clicked it and shared it as
PTShared. Now how do I get it to appear on the other computer's Windows
Explorer?

Use Network Neighborhood and create a map a drive letter to it.

Sorry about the poor English... let's try that again:

Use Network Neighborhood and create a mapped drive letter to the share you
wish to use.

Windows XP doesn't have Network Neighborhood.

In Windows XP, run Windows Explorer and click My Network Places.
Shared folders on other computers should appear automatically.

There's no need to create a mapped drive letter.
