My contacts would be far easier to manage if I could have a heirarchy
of categories. For example, I could have at the top: Business and
Personal. Under Business, I could have Company1, Company2, etc. This
would allow me to group by Company, or by Business, etc.

Are there any Outlook plugins that provide this functionality?

Thank you.

Even native functionality.

Modify your view;
View-> Arrnage By-> Custom...-> Group By

Roady,

I must not have made myself clear. Outlook contact categories are flat.
Contrast this with the file system which is hierarchical. What I am
seeking is the ability to have hierarchical categories for my contacts.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
