how to create this formula please

I need to create a formula do do the following,
take an amount in a cell and add 50.00 then *1.175 and then *0.2 and display
the total in a chosen cell.

You've practically written it yourself. Suppose your amount is in cell A1,
then your formula would b:
=((A1+50)*1.175)*.2
Of course, it could be:
=(A1+50)*(1.175*.2)
But I think you should be able to get started.
