How to create testing network

I have a VB6/Excel-WordVBA app I need to test for network capability. What
would be the easiest and least expensive way to create a test network? I need
to support Win 2K-Vista. I was looking at Virtual PC help-it looks like you
can create a Virtual Network on it using the MS Loopback Adapter. Has anyone
tried this? Is this probably the best solution?
Thanks, God bless,
Van

Sure, it could be. Virtual PC or VMWare are good products. Try
microsoft.public.virtualPC for help with that product.

Thanks, God bless,

I'm sure that's well intended, but some of us are not believers.

Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it.
RE the God bless comment: with all due respect-and I'm not hammering you,
stats show about 92-97 % of Americans believe in God in one form or another
so most would appreciate it. To those such as yourself who don't believe
that is fine-no disrespect intended-you are entitled to your beliefs as we
are to ours. And again not directing this at you, but more and more those of
us who do practice a faith, particularly Christian are expected to surrender
our free speech rights by the tiny, tiny minority. So if I may suggest that
we agree to disagree agreeably and respect each other's free speech rights.
Thanks

Then leave your religion in a religion newsgroup...stay neutral here..then
nobody will be offended.

Unless someone sneezes.

It's off topic for a technical newsgroup.

Gentlemen,
My entry was a pertinent technical question. I did not initiate this stream
of dialog. If a very few people get offended by my wishing them well in my
own way, that is regretable and not intended, but that is their choice if they
so chose. But the vast majority of people do appreciate that. A friendly
reminder that our Constitution guarantees freedom of speech, not freedom from
offense. Have a good day, gentlemen, respectfully, Van
