How to create maps chart?

Using Excel 2000, it was possible to create map based charts.
Upgrading my PC to Office 2003, I lost this possibility.
What is a solution for a non developper user?
Is a solution using Microsoft MapPoint exist for Excel (without developement)?

If you still have the Office 2000 CD, you could try the suggestion in
the following article:

Otherwise, MapPoint would let you map the data from Excel.
